Typeplace (for Web)

After the iPhone version hit just over 3,000 sales in the first month, Typeplace for the web seemed like a natural successor to the application.

Opening up the ability to share Typography with Twitter friends to users without an iDevice, Typeplace carries most of the functionality over from the native iOS application to the web. Boasting over 1,000 active users, Typeplace is the easiest way to share found type digitally.

Typeplace (for iPhone)

A project for my final year studying Interactive Design at UU. Typeplace went into beta at the end of January 2011 and gathered great press on Swissmiss amongst others.

It launched on April 5th 2011 into the App Store, was written in Objective-C in Apple's own IDE - Xcode and is an application to help share photographs of notable pieces of typography. In two and a half weeks it sold over 1,600 copies.

Troubles Archive

Designed on my placement year at the Arts Council of Northern Ireland for display in the Troubles section of the Ulster Museum on its reopening. I also had a hand in developing the site in ASP, gathering content and addressing issues such as functionality and usability.

This project received a lot of press after it's official launch in December 2009. It is still under development by the Arts Council and will be pushed out to a external domain in 2011.

Most Killbot Collective news and updates are first released through their Twitter which is found here. This project was ceased in late 2010 but you can still view it here.
